Thinking of putting my own fan on my new video card?

The video card gets hot. When i put my own pc fan on it should i have the fan blowing cool air on the video card or should i have the fan blowing the hot air away from the fan? thanks|||Define hot, my card is it and how hot does the internal core censor get? Unless you have a tiny case I would not add a fan directly to the heat sink. I would aim for my general circulation in the case. At any rate usually fans of that nature blow away from the GPU.|||You want to pull cool air from outside the case and aim it at the video card.|||It should blow into an enclosure on the card and have vents on the sides for the air to leave with the heat.
